ALHOSN University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Carlton University, Ottawa, Canada. The MoU aims to facilitate the academic cooperation between the two universities. The cooperation will consist of three related components which are: undergraduate and post-graduate student exchange, faculty exchange and joint research projects.
The MoU was signed by Professor Abdul Rahim Sabouni, Vice Chancellor of ALHOSN University, and Dr. Samy Mahmoud, President and Vice Chancellor of Carlton University.
”This MoU, in fact, is part of the efforts to further boost joint cooperation with foreign institutions and institutions of higher learning world wide and to empower the university students by providing internationally-recognized academic links” Professor Sabouni.
The MoU is valid for an initial period of five years and could be renewed upon agreement of both institutions. The two parties will also, according to the agreement, exchange relevant publications, information and regular communication concerning technologies needed to enable and enhance the substantive areas of collaboration.
