ALHOSN University showcased its academic programs and community-focused initiatives during GETEX Spring 2012, the latest edition of the Gulf’s largest education fair running from April 19 to 21, 2012 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
An exclusive seminar titled ‘ALHOSN@-a-Glance’ was conducted by ALHOSN on the first day at 6:30 p.m. The university presented its philosophy of ‘global knowledge with local vision’ and explained how its world-class curricula prepared by North American educators are well-suited for the region’s evolving job markets. Representatives also touched on ALHOSN’s various advocacies such as increasing female enrollment in technical programs and the molding of socially-responsible citizens.
“As the region’s leading educational event, GETEX offers an ideal platform for ALHOSN University to show how its programs, activities, and facilities can help cultivate the country’s future leaders. During our seminar we discussed how we instill global knowledge while fostering pride in national identity. We focused on how we encourage students to pursue personal growth and remember to give back to the community,” said Prof. Abdul Rahim Sabouni, Vice Chancellor and CEO, ALHOSN University.
