ALHOSN University recently expressed its full support for the development of Abu Dhabi’s Western Region via its participation in the 3rd
annual Universities Fair – Al Gharbia. Held at the township of Madinat Zayed in the Al Gharbia Municipal Region on April 28, 2013, the fair introduced top-notch programs offered by ALHOSN and other leading educational institutions accredited by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR) to around 2,600 students of Al Gharbia’s public and private secondary schools.
Organized by the Western Region Development Council (WRDC) with the support of MOHESR and the Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC), the fair sought to encourage high school students to pursue an academic or vocational degree in line with the needs of Al Gharbia’s job market. Prominent government figures and local residents joined the event to learn about and support the best higher education programs aligned with the region’s growth plans.
ALHOSN University took the opportunity to explain its unique teaching philosophy of ‘global knowledge with location vision.’ University representatives also discussed the market relevance of ALHOSN’s courses and the importance of pursuing professional and personal growth side by side. Among other matters presented by ALHOSN were its admission requirements, application procedures and scholarship programs.
“The Western Region is making great strides in transforming itself into a preferred destination for residents and families seeking attractive economic and social opportunities. Education is an important foundation for fulfilling this vision; in this regard, ALHOSN University intends to lend its full support to the local population. We talked with a lot of potential, eager talents whom we hope to see as part of our community in the near future,” said Prof. Raymond Tennant, Provost and Acting Vice Chancellor, ALHOSN University.
