ABUDHABI Education Council Career Planning System


Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) steered by Mr. Ashish Shivam, Specialist planning and performance Management, Higher Education together with Mr. Clayton Kennedy, Consultant from Kuder has conducted an orientation program on New Career Planning System at ALHOSN University developed by Abu Dhabi Education Council Higher Education Career Guidance Project and the Abu Dhabi Education Council Career Planning system, on 8th February 2016 for the faculties and students. Prof. Kamel Ghorab ALHOSN University Provost invited ADEC Team to the training hall and has accompanied them till the end of the orientation session. All ALHOSN Deans, Chairs and other faculty members attended the Orientation Session.
The orientation program was further extended towards the students of ALHOSN University and a huge number of students have attended and benefited from this workshop.
ADEC stressed the importance of registering in this newly developed (ADECCPS) portal and further explored the following benefits of its users

  • ·         Access to scientifically validated career assessments measure interests and work values
  • ·         Access to the latest information on occupations
  • ·         Access to college and university exploration
  • ·         Help with preparing for interviews

  • ·         A logical process to help achieve the best results for navigating each life stage and transition.
ALHOSN Vice Chancellor Dr. Mohamad Kashef thanked ADEC team for carrying out such a pleasant workshop for ALHOSN faculties and students. He also stated that this initiative by ADEC will add value to the existing education system and will enhance the performance of the education sector which will further contribute to the vision 2030 of Abu Dhabi government
