On October 15th
2013, Dr. Marko Savic, Provost for Quality Assurance & development has visited the Universidad Europea de Madrid (UEM)
, one of the most prominent private higher institutions in Spain. Meetings with Vice Rector, Dr. Pedro Lara and representatives of all of the UEM Colleges provided an excellent scope on the areas for the future collaboration between the two universities.
UEM which is member of the Laureate Group, global network for Higher Education, consists of more than 60 universities from 29 countries around the world. UEM provides study programs in Engineering, Health Sciences, Business, Social Sciences, Tourism, Design & Creative Arts and Sport. More than 18.000 students follow their studies on a 25 hectares, non-smoking campus on the outskirts of Madrid.
During the visit, Provost, Dr. Savic, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with UEM, which will provide ALHOSN students, faculty and stakeholders with opportunities to share their knowledge, expertise and interests with their colleagues at UEM.
