Members of the ALHOSN University Team took a trip to Al Ain last week to showcase its academic programs and community-focused initiatives during the Al Ain Education and Career Fair (AECF) 2014. The Al Ain Education & Career Fair 2014, under the patronage of His Highness, Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, Minister of Youth, Culture and Social Development, was held on 28, 29 and 30th April 2014 at the Al Ain Convention Centre. It is the only event of its kind focusing on higher education, training and career opportunities in Al Ain.
The university took the opportunity to show high school students and visitors how its world-class curricula are well-suited for the region’s evolving job markets. Representatives also touched on ALHOSN’s various advocacies such as increasing female enrollment in technical programs and the molding of socially-responsible citizens.
Hundreds of high school attendees both Male and Female visited the ALHOSN stand and were eager to learn more about its extensive programs available. Members of the ALHOSN team were kept busy for the three days answering questions and taking details from scores of potential students. The students were also excited by the possibility of winning an i-pad at the ALHOSN stand competition and of course the free chocolate! Winner of the i-pad competition to be announced shortly.
