As part of the professional staff development process which is occurring at ALHOSN University, two faculty members from the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences have been academically promoted. Dr. Mohammed Chacha and Dr. Abdelaziz Soufyane from the Department of Industrial Engineering were promoted to the rank of Associate Professor. The promotion came after a thorough appraisement by the Committee for Faculty Promotion at the university. Professor Abdul Rahim Sabouni, Vice Chancellor congratulated the newly promoted faculty members and wished them a successful path to achieving full professorship.
Dr. Mohammed Chacha graduated in 1995, from the Université Aix-Marseilles in France. He worked in collaboration with research and academic institutions in Europe and North-America: Université de Provence, CNRS (France); CNR (Italy); IMBM (Bulgaria); MRC (Belgium); ESA (Europe); IREQ, CSA, Université du Québec, George-Brown College and Ryerson University (Canada). “I am very grateful to ALHOSN University for this great opportunity which was provided to me and the boost to my career instilled by my recent promotion to the rank of Associate Professor.” Dr. Chacha stated.
Dr. Abdelaziz Soufyane graduated in 1999 from the Université de Franche-Comté in France. He has many research interests such as stabilization and controllability of partial differential equations, functional analysis, operator theory in Hilbert and Banach spaces and numerical methods. “Thank you ALHOSN University for providing me the tools to achieve this great success”. Dr. Soufyane said.
