The Department of Software Engineering has received a laboratory equipment grant worth of 30,000 AED from the Atmel Corporation. The grant consisted of three kits: ATNGW100 network gateway kit, VK1100 evaluation and development kit, and JTAGICE mkII development tool for on-chip debugging.
“The grant is a collection of kits which makes up the backbone for an advanced embedded systems laboratory.” Dr. Amin Haj-Ali, Chair of the Software Engineering Department commented.
The grant will be a great asset for both faculty members and students in their research.
Dr. Haj-Ali expressed his gratitude to Atmel for their support to the software engineering students’ research.
