“Keeping a Promise”; a new play by ALHOSN students

Within the framework of believing in the “School of Theatre”; students taking the course “Instructional Technology” organized a play titled “Keeping a Promise”.
The play is based on one of the elementary level lessons. The students arranged everything, set decoration, costumes, acting, directing, props, lighting sound and finally hospitality under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Saeed Hasab El Naby – Dean of Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and Instructor of the course, the resulting production greatly impressed the audience.
The play addressed the moral value of keeping a promise. This value is taught to students through education and theatre which fosters moral and ethical behavior in children and also an Interest in school drama and theatre is created.
The play was attended by H.E Khalifa Mohamed Bin Rubaya Al Muhairy, Chairman of Board of Trustees of ALHOSN University, Prof. Munther Talal Momany Vice Chancellor and CEO of ALHOSN, as well as faculty members and students. It was a full house!
His Excellency Khalifa Al Muhairy praised the theatrical performance, the cooperation of the Students and their great effort and wished them every success for the future.
